Why Does a Healthy Weight Matter?
Being overweight can lead to lack of energy, poor performance, and low self-esteem. The risks for disease are also high; rates of diabetes, high blood pressure, gallstones, and heart disease rise with increasing weight.

Diets Aren't the Answer
Part of the problem is that people go on and off diets all the time, losing then regaining weight, ultimately getting fed up with the whole process and giving up. The truth is, diets don't work. Instead, you need to enjoy eating healthy while exercising and taking care of your body every day. How you manage your weight isn't measured by 1 dish, 1 meal, or even 1 day, but by how you eat and stay active week after week. Remember, change is a process, not an event.
